What attracted you to your major? I like working with people and I’m very outgoing. Communications seemed like the perfect choice for me. My advisor helped me choose the option that best fit me. I love all my major targeted classes and there’s no doubt in my mind that I’m doing what I’m supposed to be.
What are you involved in on campus? I did intramural volleyball; it was fun to get to play again without any pressure. My team was always laughing and it was a good bonding experience with friends. I work for The Eagle newspaper. I’m also a member of the Public Relations Club. I like that I can get experience in my field of study while I’m going to school.
Where can we find you Tuesdays at 7 p.m.? I like to hang out in the dorm with my friends. We get together in one of our rooms and hang out, watch t.v. and just relax. My friends have become more like family to me.
What is your favorite class? My favorite class was volleyball and soccer. We always had a lot of fun and it was nice to have a class that wasn’t a lecture. I met a lot of people that I wouldn’t have met otherwise and it was fun to have a little competition in class.
Why did you choose CSC and why do you stay? I will never forget the way I felt when I visited CSC for the first time. Everyone was so helpful and friendly that my mind was made up before I left the parking lot. Chadron just felt right. I stay because it is a comfortable atmosphere. I love that my professors know me by name and are always willing to meet with me. I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else.
