What attracted you to your major? I was attracted to my major through my 8th grade civics teacher, Robert Munger. Mr. Munger is the one person that has influenced me the most in my short career. Mr. Munger made the classroom a great place to be for social aspects as well as learning aspects. Once the time came to finally decide what I wanted to do with my life, I realized there could not be a more rewarding job than education. I love to see success in all individuals and teaching will let me experience success each and every day.
What are you involved in on campus? On campus I am involved with many different activities. I am the Health, Physical Education and Recreation President. I am also involved with Blue Key, Sigma Delta Nu, Campus Activities Board, Hall Council and almost every intramural sport offered.
What is your favorite spot on campus? My favorite spot on campus would be the Nelson Physical Activity Center. I love this place, because it is where I can be involved with all different types of activities. I can run, lift and play multiple sports with my great friends.
What is your favorite class and why? My favorite class, but one of my hardest classes this semester, would have to be Era of WWII. I love to learn about the American society and how we have become what we are today through the past. Dr. Morgan also makes this my favorite class, because he makes you learn in a very enjoyable environment.
What do you do in your free time? In my free time I enjoy anything that deals with sports and the great outdoors. Simply enjoying my life and staying active is the best way I can spend my free time.
Why did you choose Chadron State College? I chose Chadron State College because it is a well known and accredited college for teacher education. I plan to teach for a living and I wanted to receive the best training in the area.
